Hello everyone, I am new to this channel.
June 23 I will be there in Dublin with other Italian boys.
How is the job situation, considering that we do not speak English very well.
Do you know any site or any association indicates that families who accept the au pair for boys?

Ask around the Italian fish and chip shops, when you arrive. you might get lucky and pick up some odd jobs from Italian community in Ireland.

The other day I was looking for Summer Jobs. A lot of the Au Pair's these days require a lot of qualifications..Some include a degree in Childcare, experience with children, having completed a first-aid course and having a good knowledge of nutrition etc. You also need to be garda vetted a lot of the time.

I've found one here who say they take males, here's the site:

http://homepage.eircom.net/~aupairs2ireland/

It says: "If you are male, we do have families who might take you but these are limited and tend to be mainly in the countryside rather than in the cities."

So basically, your chances of finding a host family in Dublin may be slim.
